Local chef partners with Oklahoma Restaurant Group to bring new Bar + Tapas destination
Scottsdale’s rich culinary scene is about to get a flavorful new addition with the coming of Riserva, a modern tapas bar and restaurant set to open its doors in the Fall of 2025. Located at 64th & McDowell in southern Scottsdale, Riserva promises to be a culinary haven where traditional Mediterranean flavors meet contemporary innovation.
Riserva is the latest venture from Provision Concepts and Executive Chef James Fox, a name that’s already synonymous with exceptional dining in Scottsdale. Chef Fox, who earned a James Beard nomination for his critically acclaimed restaurant Vecina, partnered with Provision, an Oklahoma-based restaurant group, to assist in the creation of Riserva Bar + Tapas. His aim was to elevate the tapas experience by offering a menu that celebrates both classic and modern interpretations of Mediterranean shared plates.
"We’re bringing a fresh, dynamic approach to tapas, combining the rich traditions of Spanish cuisine with the vibrant energy of Scottsdale," said Chef Fox. "At Riserva, we’re all about sharing – whether it’s food, wine, or experiences. We want our guests to feel like they’re part of something special every time they visit.”
Guests can expect an impressive and fresh cuisine, inspired by the rich culinary traditions of the Mediterranean, where all plates are meant to be shared. Riserva’s bar program features a number of unique hand-crafted cocktails and over 80 wine selections from Santorini to Hungary. With a lively al fresco bar scene, an intimately stunning interior and fresh indulgent recipes, Riserva will be the perfect place to socialize, celebrate, or simply gather around with friends and family.
